New Mission President

William H. Nelson, will be the new Mission President in the New York New York South Mission. President and Sister Nelson are the parents of eight children. President Nelson was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Intermountain Healthcare (IHC).

Before joining IHC, President Nelson was a health care consultant in Los Angeles and Salt Lake City for Ernst & Ernst, a national accounting firm now known as Ernst and Young.

President Nelson graduated from Brigham Young University in 1967 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and subsequently received his certification as a public accountant. He earned an MBA from the University of Southern California in 1971.
